Learning English

In this video, Mr. Duncan talks about why one needs to learn English and some suggestions on what we should do to learn English. Do you agree with him? What do you do to learn English?

American Panakes

American Pancake
Ingredients
3 eggs
2 cups of flour
1 ½ cups of milk
½ cup of oil
2 tablespoons of sugar
6 teaspoons of baking powder
1 teaspoon of salt
Directions
Beat egg whites until fluffy. Beat in remaining ingredients juts until smooth. Make the pancakes.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of butter (I use the 200gr tablet with salt)
1 1/4 cups of granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups of brown sugar
2 large eggs (if eggs are small, use 3)
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
4 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 bar of chocolate (170gr) chipped into small pieces (I use Amaro or Nestle semi-sweet chocolate - use a pointed knife to chip the chocolate bar).
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C. Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract in the mixer bowl (a blender can be used if you do not have a mixer). Beat at medium speed until creamy. Now you can remove the bowl from the mixer and continue adding the ingredients using the plastic spatula that comes with your mixer to stir it. First add chocolate chips, baking powder, and baking soda and stir all with the creamy mixture. Next, add flour (add cup by cup and stir each time you add a cup).

Use a tablespoon to drop the dough onto the baking pan covered with the cookie sheets, leave some space between them. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes to 190 degrees or until light golden brown (baking time will depend on your oven). Let stand 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets.
